Absolutely outstanding!!! What a great way to enjoy a fabulous and tasty treat.They certainly live up to their name. Dinner was fantastic and tasted like it came from fine dining, but delivered to our door. Everything was cooked to perfection and just needed to be heated up. I promise we will utilize this service when sending well-wishes to others close to us. Well done!
I received this as a gift. The meal was excellent. It came in a very nice insulated bag. Each meal item was packaged well and had heating instructions on the outside of each container. I especially liked the choices to change out the sides while selecting the meal. I would definitely give this as a gift.
I had never heard of the company until my boss sent a meal to our home when my family and I were down with covid. To my surprise the food was so good! We had pasta, salad, steamed broccoli and french rolls. I also appreciated how they had the details for heating each item so I didn’t have to go look it up. Oh and the butterscotch dessert bar was yummy too! Needless to say, I will be using them for myself as well as recommending to others. Yes flowers are nice and all, but when you’re sick you need a good home cooked meal and Instead of Flowers is it!!!
This is such a great idea! My husband's employer sent us a meal following his surgery and I'm so glad to have gotten a meal rather than flowers. The food was tasty, packaged so carefully and included everything we needed including instructions. I also appreciated that they had vegetarian options for us since we don't eat meat. I will definitely use them should the need arise.
We received this dinner as a gift after surgery. Wow! We were impressed. The meal was well packaged, easy to heat and prepare, and very tasty! The portions were generous for two and there were definitely leftovers. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them in the future!
I received a gift certificate from this establishment from my family out of town. I had never heard of it and was a bit skeptical. Wow, it was absolutely amazing!!! Truly much better than any flowers they might have sent. I ordered the Seafood Creole meal and it was delicious. Best Creole I’ve had since leaving Louisiana!! They delivered it in a Reusable thermal bag and it was hot and fresh. I could not have been more impressed - and I’m a pretty tough restaurant critic. Highly recommend.

Excellent meals. (We are picky food snobs so being able to choose from the menu was a great option for us) We took a chance on the vegan crab cakes which were lemony artichoke cakes - delicious! There was a problem with our delivery on our first order and Ashley quickly made it right. Salads were fresh and good. Asparagus was tender and presentation perfect on all selections. There is easily enough food for 3 meals. We will be using this company again AND it is much better than flowers!
I had surgery last week and my company sent me a voucher for a meal for 6 as a get well gift. It was so easy from entering my voucher to choosing a customized meal to it being delivered. They even showed up 5 minutes earlier than the 3 hour window given. The meal was beautifully packaged in a reusable hot/cold bag and instructions were easy to follow to prepare all items. The best part though was the food was absolutely delicious! We chose to order the turkey & dressing covered in gravy, green beans, Caesar salad, French rolls and the assorted desserts tray. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and so good. My kids even went back for seconds and thirds! Now that I’ve had my first experience with Instead of Flowers I’m definitely keeping this in mind for friends and family and may even start ordering a meal here and there for my family as there are so many delicious options I’d love to try! Thank you to my company for such a wonderful gift during my recovery and thank you Instead of Flowers for such a wonderful meal for my family!
